Well, we had an amazing time at our Dorsett Melbourne staycation! When it comes to a city retreat with the family there are a few must haves - pool, games, friendly staff, comfy beds, and great location. Dorsett Melbourne has ALL this plus plenty more- with a great bistro, steam room, gym, (kid friendly) bar, even a cool augmented reality artwork AND kids treat buffet on school holidays.

The location is great - down near Southern Cross Station but also within easy access to the City Circle Tram, Flagstaff Gardens - so perfect for a NYE stay (there are family friendly fireworks at Flagstaff Gardens) or even Australian Open, PLUS a quick tram ride to all the city Christmas activations…..anything really!

The rooms are lovely - with a few options depending on your needs - rooms with twin beds to sleep 4, as well as interconnecting rooms for larger families and suites up to 76sqm for those needing more space. Oh and complimentary portacots!

This really is a beautiful hotel, it feels tucked away and boutique, with a gorgeous fit out friendly staff, and plenty of areas to explore!
