chaos lab, docklands

What kid doesn’t love a little bit of (controlled) chaos in their lives!

Chaos Lab has arrived at The District Docklands and is an awesome learning adventure that you can add to your adventure bucket list. The theme of this experience is science - with a huge helping of play!

Start your visit with a quick introduction and science show then into the hands-on action, via the room of mirrors. Inside the main space, you will find visual illusions, magnetic walls, a slime factory, a glowing neon twister game and other cool experiments to experience along the way.

Mamma’s kids love all things learning and STEM, so this one ticked a whole heap of boxes. We learnt about elephant toothpaste, reflections and pressure in water. Plus, they absolutely LOVED playing with the slime (and Mamma LOVED that they could play with it here and not in our house!).

The kids will have an absolute ball in the final room too … the BALL PIT! This huge ball room has mirrored walls and a glowing base that changes colour while they play. We aren’t too sure what the learning was here … BUT it was a heap of fun.
