narrm ngarrgu library, therry st melbourne

Melbourne’s newest multi-level library is a sight to behold! Beautiful in design and function, this is a great landing point to plan your day out in the city around.

Here, you can chill in the dedicated children’s library with some books, play the Switch or some games on the interactive TVs, or stretch those legs and enjoy the view from the rooftop!

A parents room will give you a quiet space for feeding or changing bubs nappy and hot and cold water taps mean you can restock those water bottles! Everything here is really well considered and thoughtful. Even the carpet in the kids wing is spectacular!

On the second level is the adult library space including quiet study areas and on the ground floor are bookable spaces and study hall. There is also a new Family Services centre here.

The library itself is quiet and has a lot of contemporary Aboriginal art throughout - from the design of the carpet to the photographs on the wall. This is an amazing addition to the Queen Vic Market precinct.
