dino's at the melbourne zoo, parkville

Everyone’s favourite (well, some toddlers and babies worst nightmare) is back! DINO’S AT THE ZOO!

Opening just in time for Autumn School Holidays - it is the perfect adventure for the family. Wander through the Dino Trail and get up close and personal with some prehistoric dinosaurs and learn about the modern fight against extinction.

In true Zoos Victoria fashion, this isn’t just a good time with amazing lifelike dino’s (including one who spat on Mamma!). This isn’t just a trail in which to be surprised, amazed and learn different dino facts. This is a trail of The Lost Wild. It’s a teachable moment, of course, about conservation!

In between dinosaurs, Melbourne Zoo invite us to reflect on the loss of habitat which threatens our living species. The question put to us is, can our animals now become future dinosaurs? Mamma says no! Together with our Zoos, we can help fight extinction!

The dino’s are only here for a limited time - so get in before they disappear.

All ages are welcome, but please note these incredible, moving, squirting and noisy dino’s can be really scary for some of our younger family members!
