yuk gam korean bbq & pocha, chisholm pl

This section of the city is fast becoming known as Little Korea, for the amount of Korean eateries jammed into the small laneway.

Mamma recently ate at Yuk Gam, a large Korean eatery akin to a late night pub. Here, a big group will be easily accommodated. Order Korean bbq platters and items, cooked at a gas cooktop at the table, or order from the a la carte menu (or order a bit of both!)

Mamma enjoyed a feast including fried chicken, kimchi soup, bbq pork set, japchae and fried gyoza. Everything was delicious! The food was served very speedily and the bottomless sides that came with the bbq were extensive and tasty.

Of course, with the late dining hours, this might be a good one to keep up your sleeve on your next night out in the city without the kids!

Mamma will have to come back and try the other eateries in the intersecting Little Lonsdale!
