Guhng the Palace Korean BBQ, McKillop St Melbourne

Guhng The Palace is a multi-level Korean charcoal BBQ restaurant that has it all: delicious food and drinks, fantastic friendly service, a lovely atmosphere and stylish decor.

Here you can sit back and relax as the happy staff will cook the food for you! No need to worry about perfectly cooking that wagyu steak, just order away then… eat it up!

The BBQ sets have amazing options and cater up to 6 people. For larger groups, function sets are available. Of course, you don’t have to select a set menu, you can simply order your dishes with a minimum of 3 choices for charcoal BBQ. Mamma found that the set for 2 people and then a couple of additional menu items was perfect for us (2 adults, 2 kids).

If the kids aren’t happy to gobble up some BBQ meat and classic sides like kimchi, pickled radish and spring onion with spicy sauce, then there is also the a la carte menu which has Mamma’s faves like Korean fried chicken, japchae, dumplings, soups and more.

Cheesy corn and egg gets cooked around the side troughs of the bbq plate which is a tasty and fun addition to your meal. We just love cheesy corn and it can get beautifully crusty on the hot plate!

Oh, and Mamma’s hot tip - this is a great place to celebrate a birthday - bring along a cake and the staff will make you feel really special!
