Learn about early Australian history including the gold rush of the 1850s, immigration and multiculturalism, Chinese arts and crafts, Chinese festivals and customs, Chinese performing arts – drama, dance, music and martial arts.

We especially loved the giant dragon, who still plays a massive role today in cultural and Melbourne events.
