onigiri kitchen and sake bar, little collins street

Mamma has been eyeing this place for a little while now. Onigiri Kitchen and Sake Bar in Little Collins Street is a little Japanese gem serving traditional onigiri and bento boxes.

The place is small but hosts a load of punch when it comes to tasty food, service, and an authentic Japanese feel.

Onigiri Kitchen and Sake Bar have reinvented the popular Japanese snack, usually wrapped in seaweed and shaped like a triangle. They have eight exciting onigiri options that are worth trying. Some popular items include onigiri with Kimchi fermented vegetables, chicken breast, cucumber, wasabi, and mayo, and even one with stewed apple and honey!

Mamma loved the chicken karaage bento box with pickles, while little Miss 9 indulged in the cooked tuna rice balls. The rice balls are conveniently packed and make perfect little takeaway treats for little ones during a city adventure.

Mamma says this place is worth checking out!
